I graduated the summer of 70 after my Junior year.
After college I taught HS English and Theater at Amityville Memorial HS until June 2008.
After retiring, we moved to Rio de Janeiro and Buzios, Brazil for seven years where we ran a bed and breakfast and later, a restaurant. We also created a foundation to protect and help vira latas (street dogs). We visited elementary schools, presenting a musical about Aesop’s fables and spoke about being kind to animals.
We moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 2015 and then Miami Beach in 2018.
In 2019 we opened VLP Grooming and Spa (Vira Lata Project) in Miami Beach where we continue to service the neighborhood dogs from all over Miami and Miami Beach. www.VLPdogs.com
